The hinterland Mountains to Mapleton, Montville, Melaney. Investment in accommodation would be an added bonus for this region to bring more visitors the comfort they seek while travelling. The Bruce Highway is slowly making progress on improving driver safety and there is direct rail link to Brisbane.

The people of Nambour are the most inclusive and welcoming i have met. A great place to live. We moved to the coast in , My husband was very excited to show the big pineapple to the kids as he had visited on a holiday with his parents, sadly it is closed and you can no longer climb up inside to see the view, no plans for fixing it either so only able to just take pics standing in front of it. The surrounding Wildlife HQ seems to be doing very well though.
