Some times I do get a error message that reads, "because the FTP server dropped the connection. I disconnect, sometimes the file will be in the folder when I close folder and go back in to folder. Then I start transfer again, 1 or 2 files may transfer and then stalls or disconnects and etc. Thanks Tricia. Stalling uploads and unexpected connection drops are usually caused by either problems with the server or something in the network connection between you and the server.
Our latest Fetch update, Fetch 5. Based on your problem descriptions, I think that Fetch 5. Please note that Fetch 5. You can learn what's new in Fetch 5. However, you can try Fetch 5. If Fetch 5. Ok got 5. It does not seem to restart the file transfer. It just pauses at "putting file Thanks E.
Ok I take it back, if you wait long enough it will keep going just have to be a little patient! Only by powering off for a few minutes will it respond. We have even factory reset it but this has not worked. The box is over 2 years old now. My question is if a replacement is needed will we have to buy a new one or take out a new contract. Or is the box owned by Optus and will they replace it? Solved: Go to Solution. Can't start it in the morning unless I unplug and plug in again, did a soft factory resetting, still the same.
And monday, started working fine again, pretty sure that it was caused by a new software that Optus was uploading to the box and probably had a problem. If it's not, they will replace it, but you will loose everything that was recorded on that box and it will be disconnected until you receive the new one.
Turn on suggestions. Were you able to resolve the issues you've been facing with your Yes TV by Fetch? If not, could I please get you to fill out a fault report for your device. If you have any questions in the meanwhile, feel free to speak with us via Live Chat. I had a similar experience The new box has more of everything However it also supports wifi wireless N. I find that running both the cable and the wifi usually results in no problems Wish the wifi was AC Presumably the processor is also a lot more powerful We made a long series of calls to Optus prior to getting the new box In the end Optus was most reasonable about this problem given that we hadn't owned the new box as long as the older v2 box.
We have the Mbps service That's the only time there are ever any viewing problems. Although trying to record 3 channels set series tags on and watch a 4th is usually what causes the problems. Often you won't realise how many channels are being recorded as there is only one activity light and that will be on regardless whether you're recording one channel or 3.
However I'm sure most people don't even realise that the activity light exists it's blue and so are the others and thus probably don't realise they have a recording going. Changing the recording light to a different colour would have been handy? I wish the activity lights were different colours as it would make it easier to distinguish which one represents what.
The other useful light to keep an eye on is the network light. If that's not on you've got a problem! I can see the files on the FetchTV on my computer Surely this is a no-brainer?
I rarely watch TV in my room There's already a computer in the room. Why not let us watch the programs on other computers? Hi, it appears to have gone away. I rarely watch tv anyway, it's mainly for the kids and wife, and she hasn't complained about the isues occuring.
I havent noticed it when i go into the lounge room. I also reran all new hdmi ethernet and coax cables and stopped the daisy chaining one of the other posters suggested.
