Where to find pirate plunder in treasure isle

There's usually a whirlpool near your base, and another one further into the map. No whirlpools will take you back to base, however, so plan your escapes wisely.

Whirlpools are also a good way to avoid getting sunk. If you are on the losing end and there's a nearby whirlpool, hop on in for the teleport, then head back to base for recuperation.

Currents exist on most maps and can either work for or against you. They do not move and always travel the same way. Trying to move against a current is practically impossible and can quickly lead to your demise in a ship battle.

However, running with a current can speed you along to plunder or safety much quicker. Each of these features could lean to your advantage if used wisely. Escaping opponents or reaching treasure faster is key with the whirlpools, while cornering an opponent into a reverse current or leading a chaser through cannon towers could lead to your victory. Always keep an eye on your surroundings! Strong Wind - This power up will make your ship move faster. Ship Repair - This power up will repair some damage to your ship.

Cannon Balls - This power up will increase the damage of your cannon balls. The power ups only last a short time and picking up a new one will replace a previous buff already on you. You will be randomly placed in one of three minigame maps.

The play style is the same for each, simply the terrain and appearance is changed. While on one of the two platforms, to the right, they saw a pathway leading into a small cavernous room. Across the mast they went and used their lantern to ignite the rope and drop the cage the cursed captain found themself in. They then made their way back to the special recipe they left on the ship earlier, grabbed it, and then went down to discover that the cursed captain is more of a cursed skull that talks like a captain. Despite their best efforts, the cage remained unbroken.

However, the captain tasked our pirate with finding his mutinous crew who held the key to his freedom. Just south of the skull, our pirate found a makeshift tavern and it took but one look to notice the glint of something…. Inside, our pirate was welcomed by a ghostly crew singing that song again.

At the back of the tavern, up a small ramp, they found a pulley and discovered that upon pulling it, the chandelier where the glint originated dropped to the galley floor. This glint of treasure turned out to be the Cage Key their cursed friend needed to escape their cage. Back into the tavern they went, with skull in hand, and up two ramps they continued. They went back down and left the skull by the recipe, for they smelled a treasure that needed finding. They ran toward the large ship with red sails where they found a small pile of gold on the ground before it by a lit torch.

They followed this path of gold to the left until they reached what appeared to be the ribcage of an old ship. Just to the left of it, they saw a lantern lit with orange flames. Beside it, a patch of dirt that seemed as if it was only recently installed. Dig, they did, until they uncovered the body of Pour Dougie.

They lit his lantern and discovered a key. Unable to grab this key, this pirate determined that they needed a treasure for which the key could open. They went back to the broken cage that previously held the Cursed Captain's skull and to the north, they followed a wooden path to a door. Inside, they found a pirate's bed with the "Dissent in the Ranks" journal beside it on a small chest. They used the pulley in this room and moved the two black curtains to the left.

Afterward, they went up the stairs to the right and lit the three lanterns up here. Back into the cabin they went and they moved the pirate's arm, which moved the magnifying glass they were holding. They looked through their spyglass to discover the location of a treasure marked on a map.

They recognized this marking and back to the tavern they went. They dug right in front of it to discover Dougie's treasure. They brought it back to Dougie and used the key on his chest to open the chest. This unlocked the Treasure of the Dead commendation and inside the chest, this pirate discovered Poor Dougie's Medallion. With the Medallion in hand, they returned to the tavern for just to the left of the tavern lie another ship.

Inside, two old pirates play an eternal game of chess. They dropped the medallion and used their lantern to light the candle on the table. They then grabbed the Cursed Captain's skull and placed it on the body of the chess-playing pirate on the right.

Before doing that, though, the captain requested our pirate place a trinket or treasure on the chess table. It was then and only then that the Cursed Captain was able to win the Chess game. Upon winning the game, our pirate received the Ship's Key, which is the key needed to open the Captain's Quarters from earlier we mentioned when messing with the pulley's near the start of Sailor's Grave. They used the Ship's Key to open the door and inside, they found mountains of gold to claim as theirs.

After that, they went to the back of the ship where they found a pulley connected to the broken ship's sails. They used it to move the sails all the way to the right.

Following this, they returned to the Cursed Captain's Skull on the body playing chest, grabbed it, and made way for the lighthouse piercing the horizon. A seemingly uncrossable gap suddenly became crossble upon getting closer as the bridge not previously there rose from the grave. Across this new bridge the two went and up the lighthouse they continued.

As the captain instructed, the pirate climbed up the nearby ladder and lit the brazier with their lantern. Before ending their time with the lighthouse, our cunning pirate used the lighthouse to light one secret brazier. They moved the light to there right until they passed the red sails of a ship stranded in Sailor's Grave to discover a fourth brazier that needed lightin.

This lit a trail of braziers that lead to the Secret of Sailor's Grave. Before that, though, there was a secret to uncover. Back to the start of Sailor's Grave our pirate went until they discovered the sign that said Sailor's Grave.

Beside it, they discover a previously impassable path was now passable and follow it, they did. They made their way to a ship they hadn't yet visited and discovered the Secret of the Grave. From there, they went and over to the Golden Hare — aye, it was a ship with red sails and skulls crossed by swords on it — where they found a door to enter through. They found another ladder that they used to reach the top of the ship.

The two said goodbye here before the Cursed Captain gave our pirate the Cabin Key, which they then used to exit out the door behind the Cursed Captain. They went through that door and followed the path laden with treasure to a rowboat.

After dropping the rowboat into the water, they rowed to the back of the Ferry of the Damned around the lighthouse until they were close enough to dock the rowboat at its backside. Our pirate walked down the stairs to light the Well of Fates with their lanter , which came with a stern warning from The Ferryman, they tell me.
